What We Do

About

In early 2020, the Idaho Mythweaver began to forge a new path pivoting from our 30 years of cultural work in partnership with Columbia Plateau tribes, primarily the Nez Perce and Kalispel peoples, into more of a nature focused direction.

Our Mission

To present and explore through media productions the human history, cultural connections, and current as well as changing relationships of living with nature. Wild nature—wildlife and forests, wild lands, fish and rivers—of the Inland Northwest.

Voices of the Wild Earth will take what we have learned from Indigenous peoples as part of our digitally preserved Native Voices Archive, and explore the various perspectives of artists and writers, naturalists and educators to discover how we might create a more intimate relationship with the natural world. We need one!
